Casa da Achada - Centro Mário Dionísio was founded in Lisbon in September 2008 by more than fifty family members, friends, former students, former assistants, admirers, and scholars of Mario Dionisio's work, and opened to the public in September 2009.
Based on the legacy, interests, and work of Mário Dionísio, Casa da Achada, the headquarters of Centro Mário Dionísio, is a cultural hub in Lisbon, the city where the writer, painter, and teacher was born (1916), lived, and died (1993).
