On July 22, between 9:15 am and 5:30 pm, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Lisbon), the meeting “Inside and Outside the Box – NGOs and Schools together in Citizenship Education” was held. This meeting was promoted by the Citizenship Education project, which, since 2019, has promoted intervention in this area, based on the relationship between NGOs and schools in three different territories in Portugal: Damaia (Amadora), Gondifelos (Vila Nova de Famalicão) and Porto Santo. The main results of the project were presented and discussed at the meeting.
The “Citizenship Education” project is an initiative of the Cidadãos Ativ@s Programme promoted by the Calouste Gulbenki Foundation and the Bissaya Barreto Foundation, and implemented by the Fundação Gonçalo da Silveira (FGS) and the Research Center for Human Development of the Portuguese Catholic University – Regional Center of Porto (CEDH-UCP).
