Description
The European Union and Council of Europe Joint Project “Inclusive Schools: Making a difference for Roma children” (INSCHOOL) aims to support the design and implementation of national inclusive education policies and innovative inclusive education practices in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, and the Slovak Republic, in line with European standards and principles for quality inclusive education, with a focus on improving the access, participation and performance of Roma and children at risk of marginalisation and exclusion in pre-school and compulsory education. In order to operationalise the support of the INSCHOOL Project in the participating countries and create an added value to public authorities and relevant education, Roma inclusion and EU funds stakeholders, a needs assessment is being carried out to identify the country specific strategic priorities from policy, human and organisational perspectives. As a result of the mapping a roadmap of action will be developed to guide the interventions and cooperation under the framework of the INSCHOOL Project. Scientific consultancy is provided to the specific research assignment of mapping institucional needs and priorities in Portugal.Period | May 2022 → Jul 2022 |
