During Covid-19, brand researchers and brand managers around the world have found original and pioneering ways to cope with the unfolding crisis. Brand managers have found groundbreaking and novel ways to interact, communicate and develop brand relationships with their audiences, and brand researchers have never stopped exploring and investigating innovative solutions to unpredictable brand challenges.
The time is ripe to meet and exchange what together we have produced and developed in this amazing time!
Following the idea that a crisis also creates opportunities, it feels appropriate to test a new online format for exchanging brand research and practices and to close the perceived gap between brand academics and brand practitioners.
In this online conference, global brand managers will discuss their brand strategies and brand researchers will present recently published, or under review, academic articles. This is an opportunity for you to present your recently completed work to the GBC audience.
The meeting theme will be ‘Branding in COVID Time: insights from Academicians and Practitioners’. Contributors are encouraged to present their most recent works and activities with an emphasis on the way the pandemic has impacted on brands and branding strategies, communication and marketing.
