Description
The event will take place simultaneously in a dozen European capitals or large cities.Nine have already been confirmed: Kyiv, Tbilisi, Bucharest, Warsaw, Berlin, Prague,
Sofia, Paris and Madrid.
In each of them, a convivial place (café, restaurant, cultural center...) welcomes three
figures of the national cultural milieu (academics, writers, visual artists, actors,
filmmakers, journalists, editors...) who speak in their own language, between 3 and 5
minutes, in order to answer the above call. The event is public.
Their speeches are recorded and zoomed in on a large screen in the other
participating venues. Each speech is either translated directly into English or
presented on the screen in an English version.
All the audiences can therefore attend all the speeches. These are interspersed with
artistic performances (music, poetry) at a frequency to be determined.
Given the date, the anniversary of the Russian aggression, the evening will take on
an eventful dimension and news items (events related to Ukraine, statements by
heads of state, etc.) will also be interspersed pending their importance and
commented on, if desired, by the speakers.
Each local event is organized and managed by a specific team. Everything is
technically controlled by a technician from France.
