Description
The report was developed under the Master Course of Nature Professional Nursing Specialization in Child Health and Pediatrics. By the time the child / young person is subject to care primary care or within a hospital, experiencing a high degree of anxiety and many fears and the bigger the distance of your environment safe and habitual, as a hospitalization greater intensification of these symptoms. Nurses, because they are health professionals with main proximity of the child should try to break the barriers inherent to health care, making their interventions and the least traumatic possible approach. The main objective of this report is: describe and analyzing the activities undertaken during the Stage for the acquisition of skills inherent Nurse Specialist in Pediatrics and Child Health and their, consequential, critical reflection. The Training Course held in local child care / family (health center, pediatric emergency department, neonatal care unit and pediatric service) that integrated three distinct modules, in order to acquire and develop skills. The general objectives of the stage were: awareness among health professionals, children, families and educators within the relevance of atraumatic care, developing skills of the Nurse Specialist Pediatric and Child Health under the different services of care to the child / young person and family. For each module were identified nursing interventions in the promotion of atraumatic care, developed by professionals in different locations, as well as implementation strategies for improving care based on diagnosis of the situation made. Among the activities highlight the achievement of a role playing, training, preparation of informative posters, achievement guides for child care, implementation of music therapy and a "kit without pain" and change the ambience of a room insulation. Thus, targets were performed that provided me the skills acquisition inherent Nurse Specialist Pediatric and Child Health, essential to my training as a future nurse specialist.Period | 24 Oct 2013 |
