Content of the teaching programme:
Bringing saliva into Health Research:
i) how to use saliva as a source of molecular information; (1h)
ii) saliva as a diagnostic fluid; (1 h)
iii) research methods – the example of SalivaTec. (1h)
Physical activity and oral health in adults older than 60 years. (1h)
Computational biology Workshop:
i) bioinformatics strategies for functional analysis of molecular data; (2h)
ii) analysis and visualization of molecular networks; (2h)
iii) bioinformatics strategies to identify biomarkers and to clarify molecular mechanisms. (2h)
