The Institute for Higher Canon Law is an academic institution erected canonically ad instar Facultatis by the Holy See with the faculty of granting the academic degree referring to the Degree in Canon Law, whose purpose is to cultivate canon science within the mystery of the Church and to form qualified canonists for the investigation, teaching and application of canon law according to the living tradition of the Church.
