CRC-W is an interdisciplinary research centre, oriented towards societal challenges, aiming to coordinate, promote, and disseminate research on individual, family and social wellbeing. The research is organised in three thematic axis: A) This thematic axis integrates research developed in the fields of health behaviour change (e.g., sleep, eating, physical activity); promotion of health literacy and healthy lifestyles, in different population groups;  risk perception regarding emerging health risks; public health communication; ethical and sustainable practices’ adoption;  and biopsychosocial approaches on health, integrating emotional and cognitive processes, as well as biomarkers, and wellbeing measures. B) This thematic axis integrates projects focused on family adjustment processes at different levels (e.g., economic crisis, health situations, military deployments); the study of wellbeing predictors in marital relationships and parenthood; the role of families within the system of children and young people’ protection (e.g., adoptive families, foster families); digital skills and the impact of ICT use in the family dynamics. C) This thematic axis approaches work from different perspectives: wellbeing associated with professions and positions (e.g., social workers, teachers, leaders and team members);organizational behaviour and consumer behaviour; emotional and cognitive foundations (e.g., empathy, interpersonal perception, values and creativity) in leadership processes and human resources management; career development, retirement and aging; the impact of ICT use as pedagogical, management and communication resources; social innovation and evidence-based public policies.
