Graduated in Law from the Porto School of Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in 1985. Attendance of an extracurricular course of Accounting for Lawyers in Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Course of Business Administration Basics in Universidade Católica Portuguesa (equivalent to an annual assignment).
Attendance of Community Law course in Universidade Católica Portuguesa (equivalent to a semester assignment), promoted by the Centre for European Studies and Documentation (CESD).
Full attendance of the academic modules of the Master course in Juridic and Civil Sciences in Lisbon School of Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in 1986/87.
