Biography

Alice Borges Gago is graduated in History (1994), MA in Medieval History (2000), post-graduated in Information Science - Library (2006) and PhD in History, Archival History (2019) in the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon with the thesis "Elite families archives and archival practices (Portugal, 15th-17th centuries)". Her main research is on Family Archives in an interdisciplinary perspective, between History and Information Science. She has been recognized with the "History Award Alberto Sampaio" in 2020.
Main research interests: Archives, Social History.
