Biography

I am a Food Engineer with almost 10 years of experience in the retail and food industry sectors. Currently, I am a PhD student and invited teaching Aassistant at Escola Superior de Biotecnologia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where I share my knowledge of Transport Phenomena and Fluid Mechanics. My research orbits around modeling and optimization of food processing, integrating machine learning for thermal performance and quality degradation predictions. I am currently applying these insights to improve the efficiency and useability of solar cooking, always with an eye on a greener and more sustainable future.
