Biography

Graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Porto. She completed her Master's degree in Private Law in 2010 from the Porto School of Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where she also attended a Postgraduate Program in the Legal Relationship of Public Employment in 2012. In 2020, she defended her doctoral thesis with unanimous approval and the highest distinction of summa cum laude (18 values), focusing on the labour law framework of psychosocial risks. She won the António Dornelas Award (2021) for this work. Ana Cristina Ribeiro Costa has a special interest in researching Labor Law, with a particular emphasis on Safety and Health at Work, and on Labour and new technologies. She has several authored works published and various presentations on her areas of interest.
