Biography

Assistant Professor at the Lisbon School of Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where she graduated (2002), obtained a master’s degree (2011), and a doctoral degree (2016) in Legal Sciences. She publishes and conducts scientific research in the field of General Theory of Civil Law, Law of Obligations, Contract Law, Family Law, Consumer Law, and Commercial Company Law. She also has extensive experience as a legal consultant. She is a researcher at the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law (CRCFL) and a member of the Opinion Center of the CRCFL (Private Law | Civil Law). She was awarded first place in the Europe Research Awards 2017 | 3rd edition – Doctoral Dissertations Category (Dissertation entitled "A fraude à lei no Direito Civil português/Em especial, como fundamento autónomo de invalidade negocial ").
