André Baltazar has a PhD in Science and Technology of the Arts, and a Master in Electrotechnical and Computers Engineering, with a specialization in Telecommunications and Multimedia.

He is passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry, and developing innovative solutions and services in the field of digital and interactive art. He has extensive experience in computer music, interactive technology programming, new business development, artistic and scientific research. He aims to foster a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration at the School of Arts and beyond.
