Biography

Bruno César. Completed the Master in High Performance Sports Training in 2009 from the Faculty of Sports, University of Porto. PhD Student in Sciences of Education in the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP). PhD research into relationships between teacher characteristics and student outcomes. Interest in the relationship between pedagogical innovation and teacher effectiveness. Junior researcher at the UCP Centre for Studies in Human Development and active element in the curriculum research group development and learning assessment. Always connected to teaching either as a coach, physical education teacher or coordinator of the physical education department. In recent years working as the pedagogical coordinator in the board of the Externato Ribadouro. Working on the design and supervision of pedagogical innovation and a co-author of improvement projects at school. Operates in the area of Social Sciences with an emphasis on Sport Sciences and has published articles in specialized magazines and it has chapters of books. Proficient in data analysis and conducting scientific investigations.
