Biography
CARLOS DANIEL GONÇALVES PEREIRA holds a BA in History by the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon (2013-2016), a postgraduate degree in Journalistic Practices and Studies by the School of Social Communication of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon (2016-2017), and holds a MA in History, specialization in Ancient History, by the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon (2017-2020). He is currently PhD candidate in History, specialization in Ancient History, by the same institution (2020-current). He is an integrated non-doctoral researcher at the Center for History of University of Lisbon (since April 2020), researcher at the Joaquim Veríssimo Serrão Research Center - Santarém (since January 2017), member of NASSCAL - North American Society for the Study of Christian Apocryphal Literature (since September 2020), member/correspondent of AELAC - Association pour l'Étude de la Littérature Apocryphe Chrétienne (since June 2021) and member of SBL - Society of Biblical Literature (since November 2021). Since 2021, he has collaborated with the CEHR - Center for Religious History Studies of the Faculty of Theology of the Portuguese Catholic University. He has already participated in two research projects: one on the importance of the night in History and Literature promoted by CLEPUL (Center for European Lusophone Literatures and Cultures at the University of Lisbon) coordinated by Rosa Fina and Jordi Nofre; and another related to biography in Greco-Roman historiography developed by the Center for Classical and Humanistic Studies at the University of Coimbra and coordinated by José Luís Brandão and Cláudia Teixeira.
