Chon Neng Cheung

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Translation Studies at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and NOVA University of Lisbon. I hold a B.A. in Applied Foreign Languages - Translation and a M.A. in Translation, both from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. My research focuses on Chinese-Portuguese translation in the late 19th and 20th centuries, especially in literature and political writings. My areas of interest include the history of translation, the impact of censorship and ideology on translation, and Chinese-Portuguese literary translation.
