Biography

Cláudia Antunes Marante is a lecturer and researcher at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, where she teaches Digital Business Models and Business Model Innovation across several academic programs. She also teaches internationally, including at KEDGE Business School and Vienna University of Technology.

Her research focuses on the strategic use of data and digital technologies to drive business model innovation and internationalization processes, particularly in complex and highly regulated industries such as energy. Currently in the final year of her Ph.D., she brings together perspectives on digital transformation, strategy, and internationalization. She holds a Master’s in Research on Business and Administration from Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville) and was a visiting scholar at the University of Glasgow in 2012, under the supervision of Professor Marion Jones.

Alongside her academic work, Cláudia is a Project Manager and Coach at the Digital + Sustainable Innovation Lab (DSIL) at Católica Lisbon, where she leads stakeholder engagement and facilitates innovation workshops and strategy sessions for a wide range of organizations, including Banco Santander, Zdunska Wola City Council, IULM University, Bob Jones University, and San Diego University. Prior to joining DSIL, she worked as a Data Analyst at Cisco Systems.
