Cristiano Cabrita is an Assistant Professor of International Relations at the Faculty of Law at Lusíada University of Lisbon where he teaches the subjects of Introduction to International Relations and Theory of International Relations ( Degree in IR), and Major Contemporary Problems,( Master's in IR. ) Doctor (summa cum laude - 19) in Political Science and International Relations, by the Institute of Political Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon. He has a degree in International Relations from Lusíada University of Lisbon, a postgraduate degree in European Studies from the Institute of European Studies from the Catholic University of Lisbon and a Master’s in International Relations from Lusíada University of Lisbon. He was Visiting Student at Saint Anthony's College, University of Oxford, UK. Integrated Researcher at the Lusíada Center for Research in International Policy and Security (CLIPIS) and Associate Researcher at the Research Center of the Institute for Political Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University (CIEP). His research and teaching focus on the following areas: US Foreign Policy, Contemporary International Policy, International Relations Theory and International Security Studies. He is the author of several national and foreign publications, and has participated as a speaker in numerous conferences, congresses and seminars. He also collaborates regularly with various media outlets.
