Daniel Galvão

Daniel Galvão is a doctoral student in the inter-university Translation Studies program jointly offered by Universidade Católica Portuguesa and NOVA University of Lisbon. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Translation from NOVA University of Lisbon. Galvão's scholarly interests lie at the intersection of Song and Stage Translation, a passion cultivated through his background in Musical Theatre, Vocal Performance and Production, and Dubbing. His academic pursuits are driven by a desire to offer novel perspectives to the field of Translation Studies, with a particular focus on investigating Song Translation practices and their historical development within the Portuguese context.
