Personal profile

Biography

My research interests are related to Plants Sciences and Sexual Plant Reproduction.  I graduated in Biology in 2016 (FCUP) and I concluded my master's degree in Functional Biology and Plants Biotechnology (FCUP) in 2018. ActuaIly, I am finishing my PhD in Biology entitled "Sweetaffair: the importance of AGP sugars in plant reproduction" at SPReD Lab (LAQV/REQUIMTE-FCUP). During my PhD, I am studying the arabinogalactan proteins (AGPs) present throughout the reproductive tissues of Arabidopsis thaliana and how AGPs glycosylation is important in this process. I am the author of 12 scientific papers in Q1 journals and have significant involvement in different national and international R&D projects. I recently joined the Plantech group at Escola Superior de Biotecnologia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa (ESB-UCP-Porto & CBQF) as a Laboratory Technician/Researcher under the European H2020 RADIANT project.
