Biography
Recently graduated in Applied Microbiology by the Universidade Católica Portuguesa with a previous bachelor’s in Biochemistry by the University of Porto. I have experience in laboratorial work, teamwork in academic projects and preparation of protocols and reports. My master thesis was developed in Erasmus in the University of Barcelona, experience that gave me a lot of communication skills and experience in scientific research. I’m a focus, organized and creative person I'm currently working as a research fellow at CBQF - Centre of biotechnology and fine chemistry of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa where I'm participating in the "Life Fitting" project focused on the analysis of microbial communities and antibiotic resistance genes in wastetwater samples before and after treatment with different operational conditions in thw WWTP. I ambition to make a real contribution in a project or company, that provides me constant learning and the opportunity to build an ambitious career.
