Biography

Graduated from the Lisbon School of Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She completed her Master's degree in Law & Business in 2013 from the Lisbon School of Law and Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where she also attended a Postgraduate Program in Legal Sciences in 2012/2013. In 2022, she defended her doctoral thesis project which was unanimously approved, focusing on the intersection between Company Law and banking regulation. Elisabete Lourenço Reis has a special interest in researching Banking Law and Company Law, with a particular emphasis on banking prudential regulation. Since 2016 she is a guest lecturer at the Lisbon School of Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, while also carrying out her legal activity at Banco de Portugal.
