Invited Adjunct Professor at the Visual Arts Department, Leiria Polytechnic School of Education and Social Sciences since 2017, with teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate courses in Teacher Training, Social Education graduate course, MA course of Artistic Intervention and Animation, and MA course in Special Education. Researcher at CIEBA - Center for Research and Studies in Fine Arts; Collaborating researcher at CI&DEI - Center for Studies in Education and Innovation of the Polytechnic of Leiria and at CIIS - Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Health_ the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Legal trainer registration in the domains (Visual and Technological Ed; Education in Visual Arts, Special Education), number CCPFC/RFO-402937/20. Ph.D. in Art Education from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon since 2015, attending currently the last year of the Ph.D. candidate in Cognition and Language Sciences at the Institute of Health Sciences_UCP Lisbon, with participation in the Mind, Brain, and Education Meetings and MYCADOS_UCP events. From 1998 to 2020: Primary teacher; Arts teacher and Visual Education teacher (elementary school) (Graduate Pre-Bologna by ESEP, at Polytechnic of Porto, Portugal) and in Special Education teacher (professionalization at ESECS_IPLeiria, Portugal). Postgraduate degree in Arts, Craft & Design from the University of Surrey, London, and in Snoezelen Approach from ISNA- International Snoezelen Association. Multidisciplinary teaching experience in different levels of education (Basic, Adult Training, and Polytechnic Higher Education), as well as in the ongoing Visual Art training of Teachers and Educators. Member of APECV - Association of Teachers of Expression and Visual Communication and member of the Scientific Committee of "Imaginar" journal. Currently leading a group of migrant refugees in learning the Portuguese language, within the organization SPEAK Leiria, an NGO project of social innovation. Regular scientific production with publications in Portuguese and English, individual and co-authored.
