My broader area of research and teaching is European (and International) Political Economy. My research interests are European integration, institutional change, economic reform in EMU (notably, the role of the ECB and the EP, and national reforms) and EU sustainability and global governance. I have often taken an interdisciplinary and/or cross-disciplinary approach, notably to the analysis of the various crises (global financial, sovereign debt, pandemic, security and energy) and the (sustainability of the) processes of European integration and globalization.
