Biography

Ever since I can remember, I have dreamed of becoming a scientist. Throughout my academic journey, I have faced moments of doubt and uncertainty, but the road has been rewarding.

I started my curricular path in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at Faculdade de Ciências and Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar of Universidade do Porto. Later, in 2021, I enrolled in a Master's degree in Applied Microbiology at Escola Superior de Biotecnologia of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto).

Since to be a scientist is to recognize that the pursuit of knowledge is a never-ending voyage, where every answer leads to new questions and new horizons to explore, I decided to attend the PhD in Biotechnology (specialization in Food Science and Engineering) at Escola Superior de Biotecnologia of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto).

It will be a journey that demands persistence, resilience, and an insatiable appetite for learning, but I am prepared to move forward in the coming times.
