I'm Inês Silva, currently working as a PR & Content Specialist at wTVision, where I spearhead press and media strategy using digital publishing platforms. I curate content for the newsletter, ensuring it aligns with our marketing goals. Creating and translating online/offline content to maintaining our website and developing promotional materials are also part of my role. Education-wise, I hold a Master's degree in Communication Studies and I'm currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Communication Studies, focusing on sports journalism and women's studies. Since my Masters degree I've been particulary inetrested in studying the role of women in sports journalism: how they came to the field, how they are perceived in the field, amongs many other interesting aspects of this particular area. Besides this, journalism and sports have always been areas of great interest for me, which has been reflected throuhgout my academic and professional journeys. Additionally, I completed post-graduate studies in Journalism and earned a Bachelor's degree in Social and Culture Communication Studies. My professional journey began as a Junior Content Editor at Microsoft and next I honed my journalism skills at TVI, crafting articles, editing videos, and covering live broadcasts for TVI24. I then delved into communications as a Trainee at AdC, where I managed LinkedIn posts, newsletters, and organized webinars. At Sporting TV I helped to organize live tv shows and handling logistical needs.
