I hold a degree in Applied Animal Biology, a Master’s in Forensic Genetics, and a PhD in Biology (FCUP). With over 25 years of experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, and molecular evolution, I focus on developing analytical pipelines and translating insights on microbial and viral systems into practical applications in health, biotechnology, and environmental sustainability.
