Biography
Joana Cardoso Fontes is an Assistant Professor at Católica Porto Business School and a Visiting Researcher at Lancaster University Management School. She obtained her PhD in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University in 2014. She has research interests in the capital-market effects of financial reporting. Her most recent research investigates how accounting choices influence the informativeness of financial information for capital markets.
