Biography
Joana Ramos is a PhD student in Political Science and International Relations at the Institute for Political Studies of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where she also works as a research assistant at the Research Centre of the Institute for Political Studies (CIEP), having earned a research scholarship. Since 2022, she has been collaborating with Professor Aili Tripp on the Mozambique portion of a larger research project entitled "War, Revolution, and the Expansion of Women's Citizenship". Ramos holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations, as well as a master's degree in Governance, Leadership, and Democracy Studies from the Institute for Political Studies of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, with a special focus on Conflict Resolution.
