Biography
Julia Cirne Lima Weston graduated from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul with a Bachelors Degree in Law. in 2018 She holds an LL.M in International Law from University College London, obtained in 2019. She has interned at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea and the United Nations Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea between 2020 and 2021. She is currently a PhD student at Universidade Católica Portuguesa at the Lisbon Law School, where she is also affiliated with the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law. Her research interests lie in the International Law of the Sea and its intersection with Human Rights.
