Juliana Aguiar holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering (2020) and a BSc in Bioengineering (2017), both at Escola Superior de Biotecnologia (ESB) from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Currently, she is a PhD student in Biotechnology under an FCT-funded grant. Still at an early stage of her scientific career, Juliana already published four journal articles as first author and had the opportunity to be an invited assistant for practical classes of the Good Laboratory Practices course, in the bachelor's degree programs of Bioengineering, Microbiology and Nutritional Sciences. Additionally, she also contributed with four oral communications and five posters in national and international conferences.
