Biography

Leonardo Hilsdorf completed his bachelor's degree in Music at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He holds a master's degree in musical performance from Boston New England Conservatory, where he graduated with academic honors. He also has a master's degree in Music from the Köln MusikHochschule, Germany. He is currently completing his doctoral thesis in the Department of Cultural Studies at Universidade Catolica Portuguesa, funded by the FCT. He is a research member of CECC-Research Centre for Communication and Culture at UCP, in the area of Cognition and Translability. His research interests include Cognition, Cultural Creativity and Music Performance.
