    Biography

    Professor at the Health School of Viseu at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu. PhD student in Nursing at the Health Sciences Institute of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Postgraduate in Management and Administration of Health Services from the Health School of Viseu in 2014. Master in Nursing, with specialization in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing from the Health Sciences Institute of the Catholic University of Portugal in 2011. Specialization in Nursing of Child Health and Pediatrics from the Health School of Viseu in 2008. Specialist Nurse in Child and Pediatric Health at the Pediatrics Service of the Centro Hospitalar Tondela-Viseu EPE from 2002 to 2022. Professor at the Health School of Guarda from November 2022 to March 2023. Collaborated with several higher education institutions as Invited Professor. Was member of the Research Nucleus in Nursing at the Centro Hospitalar Tondela-Viseu EPE in close connection with the Academic and Clinical Center of Beiras. Develops research in the area of Nursing teaching and compassion / compassionate care.
