Biography

Maitê Gil is a Specialist in Educational Sciences and Faculty development at Católica Learning Innovation Lab, a laboratory for Pedagogical Innovation at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), with a collaborative period at University of Birmingham (UK). Her research interests include: Language Teaching; Multiliteracies; Cognitive Linguistics; Teacher Learning; and Teacher Professional Development.

She is a researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH), also developing research activities at the Research Centre for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies (CEFH).
