Biography

Associate Professor, Graduated in Law (1996), Master’s degree in the area of Theory and Political Science (1999) and PhD in Law (2012) from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. 

Since 2013, he has served as Dean. 

From 2017 to 2021, he was Vice-President of the Porto Regional Center of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. 

He was an Invited Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the UCP, at the School of Law of the University of Minho, at the University of São José (Macau) and at the Comillas Pontifical University (Madrid). 

He was a lawyer and currently is a legal consultant. 

He is the author of several articles and books published in the areas of Public Law, European Union Law, World Trade Law and, particularly, State Aid and Subsidies.
