My name is Maria João Pinho Moreira and I have a graduation in Restaurant industry and catering (2007) by Polytechnic of Leiria, M.Sc In Food Safety (2013) by University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (Portugal) and Ph.D. in Veterinary Sciences ¿ Branch food safety and quality (2019) in the same University. During my Ph.D. T in Veterinary Sciences, I worked with spectroscopic methods for the analyses of adulteration in fresh food and evaluation of consumer perception about food labelling. The results of this project - Spectroscopic methods for fresh food authentication - permitted to publish four research articles and one book chapter Currently, I am working in University of Porto - GreenUPorto – Research Center for Sustainable Agri-Food Production, on project Mobfood - Mobilization of scientific and technological knowledge in response to the challenges of the agrifood market. My position is posdoc and I I am researching and analyzing the consumer perception of upcycled food product and Circular Economy.
