Teresa Costa

Teresa Costa is a senior lecturer at the ESHTE - Estoril Higher Institute for Hotel and Tourism Studies and a PhD candidate at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Lisbon (Thesis concluded / awaiting VIVA). She holds a BA in Modern Language and Literature Studies (English/German), (Universidade de Lisboa – FLUL, Lisbon). She holds a master in American Studies-Literature (Universidade Aberta, Lisbon). Her research interests encompass culture and literature (particularly, intersemiotic approaches to literature and painting/image, like ekphrasis). Her most recent research, leading do the written PhD, dwells on a collection of postcards featuring continental Portuguese lighthouses.
