PhD in Communication Sciences and researcher at Research Centre for Communication and Culture (CECC), Faculty of Human Sciences, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where she also teaches in the undergraduate program and in the master’s in communication studies. Graduated in Business Communication and Public Relations from Escola Superior de Comunicação Social and master’s in Integrated Communication from Instituto Superior de Novas Profissões. In 2021 she was visiting scholar at Kent State University – USA. Worked as a communication consultant on projects in the public and private sector (2008-2015) and was a political communication advisor between 2015 and 2019 in the Portuguese Parliament. Researches and publishes in the areas of strategic communication, public relations, media relations, social movements, and activism.
