Biography

Nuno Filipe Camarneiro Mendes has a PhD in Conservation Science by the University of Florence and a Master in Physics by the University of Coimbra. He has devoted his research to the application of spectroscopy techniques - Raman, FTIR, XRF, SEM-EDS and LIBS for the study and characterization of artworks and their degradation processes. He has also developed work and collaborated with interdisciplinary artistic and literary projects and studies.
