    Biography

    Nuno Estêvão Ferreira holds a Phd in Social Sciences from the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ICS-UL). His dissertation focused the role of the Corporatist Chamber on the Portuguese New State (1933-74). Researcher at the Center of Religious History Studies -  Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP-CEHR), coordinates a collaborative program aimed at promoting documentary heritage: Archives Network of Religious Institutions (Rede de Arquivos de Instituições Religiosas, RAIR). Among his research interests are the authoritarian corporate regimes formed in post-war Europe and the processes of secularisation in modernity.
