Biography

Paulo de Campos Pinto holds a PhD degree in Culture Studies from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, with a dissertation thesis on Christian Iconography. He also holds a Master degree in History of Art and a BA in History. He is Professor at Faculdade de Ciências Humanas since 2003, lecturing History of Art and Contemporary History. As a researcher at the Research Centre for Communication and Culture (CECC), he develops his work as member of the research line "Art, Culture and Citizenship". Research fields: Iconography and Iconology; History of Art and Culture; History of Decorative Arts.
