Paulo Jorge de Almeida Pereira is a Full Professor at the Portuguese Catholic University and Director of the Institute of Management and Health Organizations, where he coordinates the Bachelor's Degree in Management and the Master's Degree in Applied Management. He has published two books, six book chapters and around 130 articles in peer-reviewed specialized journals. He is a reviewer for around 20 international scientific journals. He has received an international award and a national award. He has participated in the organization of several dozen events and has given more than 50 oral presentations at conferences and seminars. He works mainly in the areas of Social Sciences, with an emphasis on Economics and Management and Education Sciences, specializing in Quantitative Methods. In these areas, he has supervised two doctoral theses and more than 40 master's dissertations and participated in more than 400 master's juries. He is a researcher at the Center for Administration and Public Policy (CAPP) at the University of Lisbon and at the Center for Human Development Studies (CEDH) at the Portuguese Catholic University. In the past he has also worked in the areas of Engineering and Technology, with an emphasis on Chemical Engineering and Exact Sciences. In his professional activities he has interacted with around 100 collaborators in co-authoring scientific papers. In addition to his university activities, he regularly collaborates with organizations outside higher education.
