Biography

Senior Affiliate Professsor at Católica-Lisbon. Teaching Strategy and International Business, focused on international Executive Education initiatives and managing the MSc in Business. He holds a PhD in Management, Master's in Public Policy and Management and Undergraduate Degree in Economics. Formerly at Esade Business School in Barcelona where he served as the director of the strategy and general management department and as director of the Global Executive MBA offered jointly with Georgetown University. He was an elected member of the board of trustees of the ESADE Alumni Association and elected member of the Permanent Faculty Comission. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Corporate Governance. He is as Aspen Institute Fellow. Pedro has been Visiting Professor of Corporate Strategy and International Business at Georgetown University in Washington DC for Executive Education, EMBA, MBA and BBA programs. He is a Visiting Professor at Aalto University in Helsinki teaching Strategy for Board Members and EMBAs. He served in the past as Visiting Professor of International Business at HEC School of Management in Paris and of Corporate Strategy at SDA Bocconi in Milano. He also Coordinated and taught courses within the International Electives offered at Babson College in Boston. Pedro Worked in the cement industry and for the UN in the Ministry of Finance in his home country before joining academia full time.He published written articles, case studies and book chapters in English, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, French, German and Chinese.
