2002: PhD obtained in 19.12.2002, at New University of Lisbon, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, under supervision of Prof. José Augusto Mourão, and entitled Drink, Power and Knowledge: socio-symbolic and cultural consumptions within drinking houses. PhD Grade: Very Good with Distinction Cum Laude by unanimity.

1985: Master Degree (Doctorat de 3ème Cycle) at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris, France, with Historian. Marc Ferro as supervisor.

An edited book that I cocoordinate, named Unveiling Diverse Cultural Heritages of Otherness: Inventive Heritages via Hybrid Methods and Media Arts for Mobile Tourism, under the 'Ukraine Effect' Crisis, is scheduled to be published in 2025 by Springer Nature, gathering circa 60 authors worldwide, from universities in USA, UK, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Greece, Ukraine, Finland, Israel, Macao/China, New Zeland, Brazil, etc.
