Biography

Pedro Daniel Faria Marques is a doctoral candidate in Church History (Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome). Fernão Mendes Pinto' scholarship in 2021, 2022 and 2023, awarded by Instituto Camões. I.P., within the scope of the protocol with the CEHR, for research in the Archives of the Holy See. His main objective is to consult the Vatican archival sources between 1861 and 1933, particularly the archival sections referring to Portugal. In 2021 he finished his degree in Church History with the thesis «Instaurare omnia in Christo». A mobilização católica no episcopado bracarense de D. Manuel Vieira de Matos (1915-1932). Master in Theology (Faculty of Theology, Braga, 2011) with the thesis «O Ritual da Iniciação Cristã dos Adultos. Uma proposta de referência».
