Biography
Pedro Monteiro Meireles holds a Licentiate degree in Law (Lic.) obtained in 2012 and a Master of Laws (M.L.) earned in 2016 from the Portuguese Catholic University. He further completed a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGDip) in Insurance Law at the University of Lisbon (in association with AIDA Portugal) in 2017 and another Post-Graduate Diploma (PGDip) in Banking, Stock Exchange, and Insurance Law at the University of Coimbra (BBS Institute) in 2018. Pedro is currently a Ph.D. candidate in European Insurance Law and Private International Law at the Law School of the Catholic University in Porto. His academic path includes stints as a visiting scholar at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), and research stays at KU Leuven (Institute of Insurance Law) funded by the Erasmus + Program. In addition, Pedro is a researcher at the CEID-CRCFL (Centro de Estudos e Investigação em Direito - Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law).
