Biography

Completed a PhD in Biology in 2005 in the University of Aveiro. Researcher in the Population Genetics group from IPATIMUP (2008-2013) and in the Bioinformatics group from IEETA (2013-2018). Currently Assistant Professor in Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Faculty of Dental Medicine, and Researcher in CIIS. Participated and/or participates in several research projects, including "Multidimensional monitorization of nutritional interventions during cancer treatment " and "Understand to Prevent Oral Mucositis in Children with Oncological Disease". Author or co-author of more than 40 publications, 15 oral communications and 30 poster communications in national and international meetings. Experience in student supervision, teaching, and Thesis and project evaluation panels.
