Biography

Dr Riitta Hujanen is engaged in a two year project at CITER titled "Temporality, Liminality and Literature: Carthusian Perspectives". This follows from her prior publication, "Monastic Perspectives on Temporality: Time is a Mirage" (Palgrave Macmillan Springer, 2023).

She earned her PhD from Liverpool Hope University with a dissertation titled "Monastic Journeys through Time: Paradoxical Dynamics of Enclosed Contemplative Traditions".
